Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme
ECAS is the UAE’s mandatory product certification programme, overseen by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT). Every regulated product must hold a valid ECAS certificate before it can enter or be sold in the UAE market. Certificates are issued for one year and require annual renewal to maintain compliance.
EQM
Emirates Quality Mark
The Emirates Quality Mark goes one step further: it signals that your product not only meets UAE National, regional and international standards, but that your organisation maintains an active, effective Quality Management System (QMS). EQM certificates are valid for three years — giving you longer-term certainty and a stronger competitive signal in the marketplace.
